Music And Magic In Tamil Cinema

No:3 [YUVAN SHANKER RAJA] The only composer besides Rahman to be sort of a youth icon. The range he has shown at a young age is amazing and he seems to be getting better by the day. The volumes of work that he can handle are really worth appreciation, maybe the composer in the top rung with the highest number of albums a year. He has formed potent combinations with Ameer and Selvaraghavan and has also shown glimpses of his father’s evergreen class. Genius under evolution.
No:2 [HARRIS JAYERAJ] Another man known for his mercurial consistency. His debut in Minnale jolted the industry and from then on he has been giving hit after hit. Saamy, Ullam Ketkume, Kaaka Kaaka, Unnale Unnale, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and Bheema are albums that have stamped his place in Kollywood.
NO:1 [A.R.RAHMAN] We need not tell you much about this man, the Madras Mozart, a youth icon. The only music director of Kollywood, or maybe the whole of India who can make the ratings of a movie sore solely by his score. What he has done for Sakkarakatti and Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa are testimony. What makes him special is the ability to churn out practically any kind of music – the popular, semiclassicals, Sufis, quawwalis, rap, reggae, remixes and just about anything. From melody to disco numbers, he is the king of the Indian musical market.
