Finally, after lots of disappointing flops on almost every weekend in the past, here comes glad news for Tamil movie buffs. Vasantha Balan's 'Angadi Theru' may not be an entertainment film, but a hardcore reality about problems and pitiful lives of those salespersons, whom we meet often at textile showrooms.

T. Nagar, one of the prominently commercial areas of Chennai is well-known for its lavish showrooms, where everyone from a billionaire to a middle class family walks around. But Vasantha Balan's portrayal on other-side of T. Nagar is pretty mind-boggling.

The day-to-day problems of these salespersons, their humiliations and need to resist such cruelties of their bosses have been distinctly presented.

Hats off to Vasantha Balan for such a brilliant attempt of showcasing the realities that was till now an unknown mystery for Chennaites themselves one of the best movies, I ever seen instead of watching the commercial blabbers like sura you can encourage this kind of stuffs and also top hero’s (Vijay and Ajith) must learn how to give movie.

SURA review

Nowadays actors who always prefer super action hero roles seems to be transformed slowly to normal and natural roles. At the same time superstars like Rajinikanth are trying their level best with convincing roles like Sivaji and sci - fiction Endhiran with maximum entertainment guaranty.

Buzz up!

But there are few actors, like Vijay, still living in the world of myths and not ashamed for giving half bakedfilms like Kuruvi, Villu, Vettaikkaran, Sura and cheating the so called die hard fans continuously.

Sura, the 50th film of Vijay is surely a disaster in his 19 years old career. The story is as old as hills and the sequences are stale and repeated. Vadivelu is the only plus point in this two and half hour horrible experience. Another important point is, S P Rajkumar, who always made some B grade films, wasted a golden opportunity to establish himself as a front line entertainment filmmaker.

50 is not up to the mark.

Bottom-line:- Don't waste your money and also don't encourage this king of commercial blabbers.

Songs are good Movie is ??????????

Paiya is about a couple goes on a highway on a car and incidentally meets a person on the journey. The movie is a three day Journey which takes place in between Bangalore and Mumbai. The suspense element and the spine chilling thrill starts from this person’s entry.

Grate work by yuvan music and songs over takes story songs are really nice “Adada Mazhaida” , “En Kadhal Solla” , “Thuli Thuli” movie is not up to the mark, yet another commercial geek.

SURA STILLS

Vijay’s 50th film ‘Sura’ is complete and film is on the very final editing table. After the release of ‘Sura’ Vijay will take up the ‘Bodyguard’ remake.

The story is about the power of youth. Usually most of the youth wants to play safe when they see atrocities happen in front of them. They feel insecure and tries to escape out of the situation fearing many factors. But Vijay having all the courage tries to put things right by using all right means including politics. But when all fail he becomes a one man army to weed out social crimes without fearing for anything just like a shark would hunt its prey alone. With sufficient political overtones ‘Sura’ will also have its share of punch dialogues. As per reports, in one punch dialogue Vijay says, 'Samadhanama poga nan pura illa da...Sura'

The ‘Sura’ team is currently in Ooty to picturise songs on Vijay and Tamannah. Later they will go to United States for shooting two more songs. ‘Sura’ is planned for release on May 10 during the summer holidays.

Stop wasting money in this type of movie and spend money for poor people.

Vettaikaran title did not suit for this movie, since Bagavathy movie story already used in diff way,they might have chosed Bagavathy 2 or hero character name.

Many people asked same question in this movie, How come a gangster head suddenly become a Political minister without winning in election?????

gangster-head met some person, no idea who is he, but he has rights to make him minister without political party meeting or what ever it is.

movie 1st half no story, just done with heroin. why because producer paid much for her. 2nd half, no one was not able to understand why all those new scenes are coming in action. like villain said, in 3 months hero become big gangster. next to this scene, hero got enthu song where all people will pray for hero and looking help.

Movie seems like they made lengthy movie but don't know how to work on editing section. all frames are like artificially attached, it doesn't has normal flow to understand.

as like everyone words, vijai cant success on original stories, he has to be always remake hero from other language movies.

questions : 1- in which college we are getting 1st year degree admission for aged people ? 2- can any gangster become Political Minister without winning election ? 3- in which police station,officers can have haircoloring by their junior police officer ? 4- Encounter specialist can shoot villains, but when he saw gangster in his, why cant he shoot them ? 5- in chennai which 4 corner road doesn't have traffic police in rush area ? 6- is people still there to believe all 0% logical movies ?

Can we use our car remote locking, when car is completely under water ? also if we lock car from outside, outsider cant go inside but people who are inside can come out from car right. but our hero did a brilliant( his brain) job in it, he locked car from outside, so that villain cant come out from car, bcos its locked :).

even if hero doesn't lock , villain will die in water bcos he don't know swimming. but he died inside the car in 0% no water , why bcos our hero already locked car from outside ( note : all windows and doors locked ) .

English movie director shows their imagination power in screen, always they make story and select

suitable hero's. Tamil movie director's was making movies with message where public should understand life nature. but now few director making movie for hero and writing suitable story without any logical way and makes public fool.

Movies like " Nadodigal " has 100% logical story. that movie has no popular face, all new actors, that made huge success.

Since this movie 2nd half actions dint have continues line and it seems like trailer, why bcos all scenes are like attached artificially.

Kindly wait for few months, you can watch this movie on popular TV channels during festival time. Finally this movie is unfit 49 for Vijay.

Asal:- A story having the baseline from a famous tamil mega-serial THIRUMATHI SELVAM....

This movie Asal is all about Ajith, his stylish outfits and his cool attitude. Story is not so impressive but Ajith really impresses us with his silent yet powerful show. Its not new to Tamil cinema for having such storyline and could have been more better when it comes to music. Ajith has finally set a benchmark to his colleagues by not using any special tag-line as "Ultimate star", need extra applause for such a brilliant initiative. The screenplay is really good at times and adds more thrills and suspense to the content. Cinematography is top notch and so does stunt choreography. This movie is another unfit and also numbered 49 in Ajith's failure list.

National award winning Priyamani has awesome screen chemistry with prime star Jagapathi Babu! And they have co-starred in a number of films too like Pellaina Kothallo, Pravarakhyudu, Sadhyam and Baburao... Ninnodala! But does it mean that both actors have any relationships beyond professional boundaries? Unfortunately, this is what a few Telugu newspapers and websites had written recently about the duo's relationship. Annoyed by these reports, Priyamani dismissed all speculative and unsubstantiated reports, saying that they are figments of some ugly mind's imagination I acted with Jagapathi Babu in my first Telugu film, which became a big hit. Then I have acted with him in the recently released Pravarakyudu which has also been received well. My next release Sadhyam is also with him. But I have also acted with other heroes like Tarak (NTR), Ravi Teja and Nitin. Just because I have worked with Jagapathi in many films, you cannot link me with him. First and foremost Rajinikanth who is very choosy about the functions he attends, promised to come for it. He came at the appointed hour after a busy days shoot forEndhiran, and sat through the entire function (5 hours 15 minutes) where speaker after speaker was singing hosannas about Kamal.Rajinikanth in his speech referred to Kamal as “Kalai Ulagam Anna. Rajini added that he has enough material to speak on Kamal’s achievements for two days and in 1975 when he joined movies Kamal was already a very big star and could have easily overshadowed him in the 10 odd films they did together.“ He never interfered with my character or tried to cut me down in any of the films we did together. Please note as a star he was much bigger than me and any director would have gladly chopped my role or refused to cast me, if Kamal had asked them. But after Ninaithale Inikkum, he called me and told me that it is better for my growth as a hero if we do not work together, and I gained by it,” was Rajinikanth’s simple straightforward explanation.He remembers the time when KB chided him for going out to have a smoke, at a time when Kamal was doing an important solo scene. KB in fact told him that by just observing Kamal, he could learn what acting is all about. Rajinikanth also said that the path they took in cinema was two different routes, so they never clashed. Says Rajinikanth: “ I will not go his route, as I know that I’m incapable of doing what he does. In fact as everybody knows Shankar had written the original script of Robot for Kamal. Years later when the role was offered to me, I told him that it has to be re-written to suit my capabilities. Shankar replied, do you think that I’m a fool to make you do a role that was meant for Kamal?”An emotional Kamal Hassan, touched by Rajinikanth’s frankness, in his reply said: “Which actor in the world will be so honest and straight forward in his talk? There were stars before us but they were never as friendly as we were, and we have proved that two top actors can be healthy rivals. Rajinikanth will always remain my best friend forever.”

i cant just explain this movie with words. this feel good movie, is one of a kind , something which can be expected from the director of "MINNALE".

the movie rocks, visuals are stunning, songs are just off the charts. i almost got goose bumps when i saw the audience hum/sing along with the song "Hosanna" and cry out when the name A.R.Rahman appears on screen.

the song "Mannipaaya" was mind blowing. A.R.Rahman's voice is awesome and i am glad that he sang that song.

the romance scenes are good. some scenes appear to be over impressive.i cant use the term "repetitive" on regard to this movie.

The song "omana penne" would have been better if it was shot in kerala.

One who likes love will watch it calmly.... One who s in love will feel it... One who fails in love will enjoy it with pains and tears...

To die in love for someone is not the big thing... To live wit that pain with smile forever is the great real achievement...

u bought out wonderful messages, & u rock Gautham Menon. this is the next best movie, of urs after minnale.

i got the feel good feeling after watching it, maybe it could be due to experience or it could be due to meeting characters like "Jessie" & "Karthi" in my life.

certain tales are kept in heart awaiting to be told. Gautham has expressed his tale so wonderfully, and it makes me yearn to do a tale portraying it.

This is a movie with no masala items/commercial aspects. just watch it relaxed, and there is no doubt that u will love this tale.

story - 8/10 Acting - 9/10 Visuals - 9/10 Songs - 10/10 Direction - 9/10
